We close our series through Deuteronomy this week with chapter 30, the climax of Moses' sermon to Israel before they enter the promised land. Moses knows Israel will fail to keep every blessing and curse he's laid before them. But even then, God promises something greater than the land itself: a new heart, one only he can give. What once felt distant and out of reach turns out to be closer than Israel ever realised, the word already near them, in their mouth and in their heart. Moses closes his sermon, and this series, with one appeal: choose life. Choose the Lord. Because the Lord is our life.
