What we believe

At the heart of everything is Jesus. We believe he is the Son of God, that he lived a real human life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. We believe he will return one day to make all things right. These aren't just doctrines to us; they're the reason we gather every week.

We believe in God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same God who has been worshipped by Christians since the beginning of the church. We hold that the forgiveness of sins and the resurrection of the body are real promises, not just metaphors.

We take the Bible seriously as God's word to us, not as a historical relic, but as something alive and relevant. Our teaching aims to be honest about what Scripture says and practical about what that means for everyday life.

We also believe the Holy Spirit is at work today. That means we pray expecting things to happen, we trust God to show up, and we make room for his gifts in the life of our church. We've seen God change people's lives here, and we think he's not done yet.

A Place for Questions

We know not everyone walks in with settled faith. Some people come curious, some sceptical, some searching after years away from church. That's fine with us. We'd rather have honest questions around the table than polished answers that don't mean anything.

Our vision is simple: to see the people of South Croydon — and beyond — transformed by Jesus. Whatever that looks like for you right now, wherever you're at, you're welcome to come and find out.
